Kyle Kosior
Originally from Canada (the sexy side of Saskatchewan), Kyle is a graduate of the University of Regina and the University of North Dakota School of Law. He has experience working for the Manitoba Moose, the United States Hockey League, and currently works for Veritas Hockey in addition to consulting for JLG Architects in their hockey arena studio. Kyle was one of the original founders of IllegalCurve.com, and still contributes to the website and radio show from time-to-time. Kyle teaches in the Sports Business program at the University of North Dakota and is a licensed mediator. Kyle lives in Grand Forks where he makes it a priority to find time to be married and to be a dad to his two boys while still mixing in a little hockey and baseball coaching on the side. Most importantly, Kyle is a two-time sand volleyball (Rec 3) champion and is REALLY GOOD at lawn darts (the old-school still dangerous kind).
Kelly Moreland
Born and raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota, Kelly Moreland brings the much needed female perspective to the North Dakota After Dark scene. A fierce hockey mom with a trucker’s mouth (she was raised in a truck stop. No, seriously), Kelly spends countless hours in hockey arenas across the upper Midwest and wouldn’t have it any other way. When not watching hockey, her interests include sniffing out any casino in a hundred-mile radius, spending way too much time on TikTok, and helping her family put the “fun” in dysfunctional.
Corey Irion
Originally not from Canada (which means he knows how to properly pronounce “Garage” without sounding like an over served gentleman with a mouth full of marbles), Corey is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and the University of North Dakota School of Law. Corey has a myriad of experience in things and stuff, and he’s one of the three people referenced on that t-shirt you once saw in the Wahpeton strip mall (“I Like Beer and Maybe Three People”). So he has that going for him. In his spare time, Corey coaches and runs his kids to every corner of the upper Midwest to vicariously live out his dreams through their lives (i.e. he would have played in college but his knees, back, or shoulder got hurt or something). Corey enjoys hunting, fishing, playing sports, spending quality time with his wife, and he’s literally had zero time to do any of these things since he said, “Sure, we can try travel sports” for one season.
